I have no idea, how all these companies DO NOT go with 48V Lithium Systems like Victron or SAFIERY?????. 12V is dead as dead, super inefficient, and old school. Any good caravan company would use those 2 brands ( or others) - that offer 48V systems, as they are soooooooooooooo much better than 12V. Plus SAFIERY now offer Sodium Ion batteries - SO MUCH SAFER AND BETTER than Lithium batteries. I also cannot figure, how for true, off-road vans - why you do not incorporate a water desalination system????- The 2 biggest issues ANY off-road/remote touring people have is food and WATER!!!!!!..... If you have a desalination unit - you can stay anywhere that there is either saltwater and/or brackish water.......I am so surprised, all these caravan companies, never consider the newest tech into their builds, yet hoodwink customers who have no idea!!!!!

Any particular eeason you chose a JB van? Did you consider Kedron or look at one?

Great to see your family taking time to see OZ and building up an ever growing list of memories that you will all have for the rest of your lives. This episode brings back lots of memories for me as i was born in Darwin and lived just south near Humpty Doo growing up. Another great video of your travels, your children were amazing doing Tunnel Creek. It’s a bummer that your windscreen got smashed, you would think oncoming drivers would slow down to help stop this from happening. Will you give a summary up of the difficulty of the gorges at the end of the Gibb.

Phew. Lucky it wasnt major. I used to be a rusted on Toyota landcruiser guy. Ive had 40,60,70 ,80,100,200,300 fjcruiser. 5 v8s. Hated the 300, sold the 79 and bought a hilux. Why? To see if i can live with the 2.8 and auto and to wait and see what issues come about before buying one. Back in 2022 i was doing valuations for a major mining company in newman and they said they wanted the 2.8 instead of the v8 and hey presto here we are. I liked the 200 but the gearbox modulation towing was an issue for me. Best wagon imo-80 series with the quad valve turbo. Still have my fj45 which I love. Have fun! 👍

Goods news it wasn’t anything wrong with the injectors. The mine vehicles are huge aren’t they.

Great video look into a water bladder saves a great deal of messing around we run a 200 liter works great each time you go to town grab some water
